You can link up your gas, electric, and water bills for an overview on your usage month-to-month, as well as a comparison with others in your area, and others with similar families and homes in your area.

This is a great way to keep an eye on your usage, get tips and tricks for lowering your usage, and they often have rebates available on items that will help you save.

My Energy works with Illinois American Water and Ameren IP, but you must have an online account set up with each utility.

This month they are featuring a $25 rebate on a Nest Learning Thermostat – one fantastic way to lower your gas and electric bills and usage.

We have two new high-efficiency heating/cooling systems in our house, and we have a Nest attached to each.  We love that they ‘learn’ our schedules, help us save resources, and can be set from our phones!
